About

Grace OMalley dramatic pancake

Kathryn Grace O’Malley

“Drama is very important in life: You should always come on with a bang. You should never go out with a whimper. Everything can have drama if it’s done right. Even a pancake.” — Julia Child

Dramatic pancake was born out of a love of food, cooking and people. The title was inspired by Julia Child—that iconic, spunky lady who could flip a pancake from ordinary to extraordinary. Neither her life nor her food was ever bland, but I know she’s not the only one with a story to tell or a dish to savor.

Everyone’s Best Recipe
Every home cook has at least one outstanding, tried-and-true recipe that he or she returns to again and again. If it’s worth making on a regular basis, it’s probably worth sharing—and at dramatic pancake, that’s the idea. By chatting with people in their own homes, cooking alongside them and photographing their creations, I hope to bring together a delicious and eclectic group of recipes you can count on.
